Soundwave Research Laboratories, Inc. is the owner of 3VUS™, a new catheter-based coronary intervention technology that improves the ability of clinicians to perform life-prolonging interventions, and will be used to detect, and treat, life-threatening diseases of the heart using imaging as a guide.

3VUS™ stands for 3rd generation IntraVascular UltraSound.  It is a catheter based imaging mode that uses tiny ultrasound imaging sensors at the tip of the device to locate diseased segments of human coronary arteries. 

3VUS™ picks up where IVUS left off in the mid 1990s.  Our 3VUS™ mission will improve intravascular imaging which will enable wider use, improve patient safety, and guide important new therapies, such as
