Soundwave Research offers Micro Transducers
September 14, 2011: Soundwave Research Laboratories, Inc. of Ashland MA has released two new miniature transducer products incorporating its proprietary production-ready assembly methods. A 30 MHz, 0.5mm transducer, and a 40 MHz, 0.5mm transducer is available in bulk quantities of 10, 25, or 50 units to researchers, product developers and instrument manufacturers. Some applications for the transducer technology include doppler flow measurement, material thickness, IVUS catheters, and needle applications.
"The sale of the Crowley and Tripp Ribbon Microphone brand is an important milestone, and validation of our nanomaterial development efforts", said company CEO Robert J Crowley. We are poised for growth in a number of areas, including new, energy harvesting nanomaterials."
